Erin Badman and Gaia Scarf will be performing their original music in an intimate setting at The Newagency. This is set to be a really fun night of acoustic goodness. Both vocalists have a short and sweet approach to songwriting and are inspired by artists such as Gretchen Parlato and Lianne La Havas. The night will open with Gaia, who as a solo artist, paints a picture in audio with catchy lyrics, silky smooth vocals and luring guitar playing. She subtly blends colours of jazz, pop and soul to create her own dreamy sound. Singer/songwriter Erin will follow Gaia’s performance with a mostly acoustic and rhythmically entrancing hybrid of jazz and folk. Her voice has an ethereal quality that bends without breaking, and weaves without tangling beautiful storytelling and wordless melodies. Come and hear something fresh and new to the Sydney music scene, bring your own drinks and just relax while these two songbirds serenade you with their hushed yet sultry vocals.
