Surprise! Sydney's own, Briana Cowlishaw is back from the UK to release her EP, "All You Need to Be" under her new moniker, Fetherstone: an electronic indie-pop infused project.
Having already released three albums as a jazz performer under her own name in Australia and Japan, Briana is spreading her wings a songwriter, arranger and performer. The new sound is a result of a collaboration with producer and London native Harry Tarlton (Kobalt Music Group, Chi) and draws sonic flavours from the likes of Tom Misch, Lianne La Havas, Mura Masa, Little Dragon, Laura Mvula and Oh Pep!
Using just a loop pedal, percussion and electronic drums while she sings her swooping melodies,Briana engages her audience with honest and reflective stories.
Don't miss this once off show to celebrate her new musical exploration.
'All You Need To Be is piano driven, with her pure vocal tones driving what feels like quite personal prose.
